How often should Christians pray and read the Bible?
Christians are praying en reading the Bible. It’s one of the most important tinhgs in Christinaity. There isn’t a prescription how often you have to pray and read the Bible. Praying and reading the Bible is an important part of the relationschip with God. So the question is: How important is the relationship of a Christian with God en how often do you want to communicate with God?
Most of the Christian families are reading from the Bible after dinner. It’s a central moment of the day where the whole familie is gathering around the Word of God. Beside this central reading most Christians have their ‘quiet times’ while their reading the Bible. Reading the Bible and praying are important together. You ask God if He helps with understanding the texts.
It’s not about how many times a Christian prays en reads. It’s about how he or she is doing it. It’s about the heart of the Christian.
